Convert GIF to PNG Sequence Step by Step

Install and Open the Converter

Photoshop and GIMP Route

GIMP needs the GAP plugin (GIMP Animation Package) to export frames as a PNG sequence. The plugin install is hit or miss on modern GIMP builds, and the export dialog feels old. For a single test it works, for production it slows you down.
