IceWarp Converter Migrate From Server
When the IceWarp Server goes offline, the mailbox data does not. Configured accounts on a running IceWarp host detect automatically; data folders copied off a crashed Linux installation, a decommissioned Windows host or a backup tape browse manually. Either path lands the same: emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, tasks and notes recovered together and exported to PST, MBOX, EML, MSG, PDF, Office 365, Gmail, IMAP and 7 more targets.
IceWarp Server installations rarely fail in clean ways. The disk survives but the service does not. The Linux host got rebuilt but someone copied the mail directory off first. The vendor support contract lapsed and the admin web UI no longer authenticates. Three investigation threads cover the recovery options: auto-detect at the host machine, browse to orphaned data folders, and extract complete mailbox content regardless of which path got there.
Auto-Detect on a Live IceWarp Host
On a Windows machine where IceWarp Server is still running (or recently was), the wizard scans the registered IceWarp data directories and lists every detected account. Pick one user, a subset, or every account. Useful when the server still answers but the admin needs to migrate users off in bulk for an Office 365 cutover.

Browse to Orphaned Data When the Server Is Gone
When the IceWarp host crashed, got rebuilt, or ran on Linux and is no longer reachable, the mailbox folder sometimes survives on a backup. Copy the IceWarp data directory off the source machine onto any Windows workstation, point the wizard at it, and the orphaned folder reads exactly the same as a live install. No IceWarp service needs to be running anywhere.

Recovers Every Mailbox Item, Not Only Mail
IceWarp Server stores far more than email. Contacts, calendars (with recurrence and reminders), tasks, notes, journals and public folders all read out together with the messages. The output destination decides which items survive the export: PST and Office 365 carry everything; PDF and HTML carry mail-only.
Emails with full headers, attachments, formatting
Contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals as native items

IceWarp to Outlook PST for Exchange Import
The most common IceWarp migration target is Outlook PST, because PST is what Exchange Server natively imports. The wizard reads each IceWarp user mailbox, writes one PST per user (or one combined PST), and the Exchange admin then runs New-MailboxImportRequest against the PST set. Calendars, contacts and tasks survive the round trip.
IceWarp to Office 365 in Bulk
Direct upload to Microsoft 365 tenants over Modern Authentication (OAuth 2.0). Provide tenant credentials, the wizard enumerates IceWarp source mailboxes, the admin maps each to a destination Office 365 mailbox. No PST intermediate, no Exchange staging server. Skips the file-system step that legacy IceWarp-to-O365 procedures require.
Crashed Linux Server Mailbox Recovery
IceWarp ships for both Windows and Linux. When the Linux host fails or gets retired, the mailbox folder often survives on a backup. Copy the IceWarp data directory off the Linux drive onto any Windows workstation, point the wizard at the folder. The wizard reads orphaned IceWarp data without the service running.
Date Range and Folder Filters for Selective Export
Migrating only the last two years of mail, only the Inbox and Sent, only one user out of 200? Date range filters by sent and received date; folder filters by mailbox subtree; size filters by attachment cap. Each migration job runs against the filtered subset, not the full mailbox.
Direct Cloud Delivery to Gmail, Yahoo and IMAP
Cloud destinations span Gmail (Google Workspace), Office 365, Yahoo Mail, ProtonMail (via IMAP), OWA, and any IMAP-capable server. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 where the provider supports it, app-specific password where it does not. The wizard writes folder-by-folder, retains the IceWarp folder hierarchy in the destination account.
No IceWarp Install Required at the Conversion Workstation
The wizard runs on any modern Windows machine. IceWarp Server itself does not need to be installed at the conversion workstation; the wizard reads the IceWarp data folder format directly. Useful when the original IceWarp host is no longer available, or when the migration runs on a clean admin workstation away from the production server.

Three Stages from IceWarp Source to Output
The detection, the export choice, the save - three stages cover most IceWarp migration jobs at the high level. Each stage hides specific details (folder enumeration, format mapping, credential handling) that the eleven-step walkthrough later on this page covers in full.
01
1. Detect or Browse to IceWarp Data
Pick Configured IceWarp Accounts if the wizard runs on a Windows machine where IceWarp Server is installed; the user list populates automatically. Otherwise pick Choose Folder and navigate to the IceWarp data directory copied from the source host.
02
2. Pick the Output Destination
Click Export. The destination menu groups outputs into file formats (PST, EML, MBOX, MSG, EMLX, PDF, HTML, RTF, CSV) and cloud services (Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, OWA, IMAP). For cloud destinations, supply credentials at the next dialog.
03
3. Save and Run the Migration
For file outputs, browse to the destination folder. For cloud outputs, the wizard writes folder-by-folder against the destination account. The licensed edition processes unlimited mailbox content; the trial caps at 25 emails per folder for evaluation.
Software Compatibility
IceWarp Source Modes and Output Destinations
Source: two modes (configured IceWarp Server accounts on the Windows host, or orphaned data folders copied from any IceWarp installation including Linux). Destination: 9 file formats (PST, EML, MBOX, MSG, EMLX, PDF, HTML, RTF, CSV) and 6 cloud services (Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, OWA, IMAP, ProtonMail). 15 destinations total in one wizard.

What Else the Wizard Reads from an IceWarp Source
Email is the headline asset, but most IceWarp recovery jobs sweep adjacent stores too. Address books at the global and personal level. Calendar items with attendees, recurrence and reminders. Tasks with due dates and assignment metadata. Notes as plain text or rich text. Journals at the user level. The wizard surfaces each store in the navigation tree alongside Inbox, Sent and other folders.
For investigative or compliance work, the wizard exposes the underlying message data alongside the rendered view. Hex view for byte-level inspection of suspect messages, raw RFC 5322 source for header forensics, attachment listings with MIME type and size, and the conversation thread reconstructed from In-Reply-To and References headers.
Search across the entire IceWarp dataset rather than per-folder. Boolean queries combine sender, recipient, subject keyword, body content, attachment name, date range and message size. Useful for compliance discovery against a recovered IceWarp archive where the requesting party named a counterparty and a date window.

Why Users Switch to PCDOTS
Five IceWarp Conversion Problems and Their Resolutions
Five recurring problems IceWarp admins and migration engineers hit. Each maps to a specific resolution path the wizard exposes. Skip ahead to the situation that matches the immediate blocker.
Problems You're Facing
IceWarp Linux host crashed, only the disk image survivesThe IceWarp Server on a Linux host went offline weeks ago. The vendor support contract has lapsed. The disk image got recovered off the failed hardware but no live IceWarp service remains anywhere. Mount the disk on a Windows recovery workstation, locate the IceWarp data directory, point PCDOTS at the folder. The wizard reads the orphaned data without any IceWarp service connection.
IceWarp Sync route loses calendars and tasksThe traditional IceWarp-to-Outlook path uses the IceWarp Sync Outlook add-in to mirror the IceWarp account into Outlook over IMAP, then exports to PST. IMAP carries email but loses calendars, tasks, contacts and journals. The PCDOTS wizard reads the IceWarp data folder directly and carries all mailbox item types through to the destination.
Migrating 50 IceWarp users to Office 365, no PST intermediate wantedSome IceWarp-to-O365 procedures route through PST as an intermediate format: export IceWarp to PST, import PST to Exchange Online. Two passes, double the I/O, double the failure points. The PCDOTS wizard authenticates to the Microsoft 365 tenant directly, enumerates source IceWarp users, maps each to a destination Office 365 mailbox, and writes folder-by-folder in one pass.
Compliance request against a five-year-old IceWarp archiveLegal counsel issued a discovery hold against an IceWarp archive that retired four years ago. The original IceWarp Server is gone but the data folder survived in cold storage. The PCDOTS wizard reads the cold-storage folder, applies boolean search across sender, recipient, subject and body for the named counterparty and date window, and exports the matching subset to PST or PDF for delivery.
IceWarp data on Linux, migration workstation on WindowsIceWarp Server runs on Linux at the production site, but the IT admin sits at a Windows workstation in a different building (or a different country). Installing IceWarp on the Windows workstation just to reach the data folder is impractical. PCDOTS bypasses that requirement: copy the IceWarp data directory off the Linux host onto Windows, run the wizard locally.
How PCDOTS Fixes It
Reads IceWarp data folders without any IceWarp service runningAim PCDOTS at any IceWarp data directory, configured or orphaned, Windows-sourced or Linux-sourced. The wizard parses the on-disk format directly. No IceWarp Server install required at the conversion workstation. No IMAP authentication, no admin console access, no live service of any kind needed at either end of the conversion.
Carries all mailbox item types, not only emailEvery IceWarp item type reads out together: emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals, public folders. The destination format determines which items survive (PST and Office 365 carry everything; PDF and HTML carry mail-only). RFC 5322 headers retained verbatim across the conversion.
Direct MBOX to Gmail migration in a single click.Connect your Gmail account inside the converter. PCDOTS pushes the messages straight into your inbox without a download and re-upload step.
Date range and folder filters scope each migration jobBulk migrations rarely target the entire mailbox. Date range filters by sent and received date; folder filters by mailbox subtree (Inbox only, Inbox plus Sent, etc.); size filters by attachment cap. The migration job runs against the filtered subset, not the full IceWarp dataset. Useful for the last-two-years cutover or one-user-of-many recovery workflows.
Direct cloud upload to Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo and IMAPFor cloud destinations the wizard skips the PST intermediate entirely. Provide tenant or account credentials, the wizard authenticates over OAuth 2.0 where available or app-specific password where not, and writes folder-by-folder against the destination. Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, OWA and any IMAP-capable server all supported as direct write targets.
Real-World Applications
Six IceWarp Migration Scenarios This Handles
IceWarp customers fall into recognisable migration patterns - the Office 365 cutover for SMBs leaving on-premise, the Exchange consolidation for enterprises absorbing acquired companies, the post-crash recovery from a backup tape. Six scenarios below cover the bulk of customer support tickets, ordered by frequency.
IceWarp to Office 365 for SMBs Leaving On-Premise
Small and mid-sized businesses on legacy IceWarp Server deployments often migrate to Microsoft 365 for the unified Office plus Teams plus OneDrive bundle. The wizard reads each IceWarp user mailbox, authenticates to the Microsoft 365 tenant via OAuth 2.0, and writes the contents to the matched destination mailbox. No PST intermediate required.
PST to Office 365Exchange migration
IceWarp to Exchange for Enterprise Consolidation
After acquisitions, the parent company often consolidates several mail systems onto a single Microsoft Exchange Server. IceWarp data exports to Outlook PST, the Exchange admin runs New-MailboxImportRequest against the PST set, the acquired-company users land in the parent Exchange organisation with their full mail history.
PDF exportGDPR compliance
Crashed IceWarp Server Mailbox Recovery
IceWarp Server runs on Windows and Linux, and Linux hosts in particular sometimes fail in ways that leave the mailbox folder intact on the disk but the service unrecoverable. Mount the disk on a Windows recovery workstation, copy the IceWarp data folder, point the wizard at it. The wizard reads orphaned IceWarp data without the IceWarp service running anywhere.
Corrupted PSTForensic recovery
IceWarp to Outlook PST for Local Archive
When the destination is a single Outlook user (not Exchange or Office 365), the wizard writes each IceWarp account to one Outlook PST file. The PST opens in Outlook 2007 and later, retains folder hierarchy, and serves as a long-term archive that does not depend on continued IceWarp licensing.
MBOX to PSTEML to MSG
Compliance Discovery Against Archived IceWarp Data
Legal hold orders sometimes target an IceWarp archive years after the production server retired. The wizard reads the archived data folder, applies boolean search across sender, recipient, subject and body, and exports the matching subset to PST or PDF for delivery to the requesting party. No need to rebuild the IceWarp Server to satisfy the request.
HIPAAHealthcare archives
IceWarp to Gmail or Yahoo for Personal Migration
Individual IceWarp users at a shutting-down ISP or hosted-IceWarp provider need their personal mail history on a free webmail service. The wizard authenticates to Gmail or Yahoo, writes folder-by-folder, and the user lands at the new provider with their full IceWarp folder structure preserved.

Why Customers Choose This Tool
Eight Reasons This Wins Against Other IceWarp Tools
The IceWarp converter category divides cleanly: vendor-supplied options (the IceWarp Sync Outlook add-in route which requires a live server), indirect routes (IMAP-add-and-export workflows that lose calendars and tasks), and standalone tools like PCDOTS that read the data folder directly. Eight differentiators below explain what separates PCDOTS from the rest of the standalone field.
Reads Orphaned IceWarp Data Without the Server
Most IceWarp migration tools require a running IceWarp Server at one end of the connection, either to authenticate IMAP or to host the source mailbox. PCDOTS reads the IceWarp data folder format directly, no service connection involved. When the IceWarp host crashed two months ago and only the disk image remains, PCDOTS still reads the contents.
Bridges Linux IceWarp to Windows Migration Workstation
IceWarp Server frequently runs on Linux, but the migration workstation that the IT admin sits at runs Windows. PCDOTS bridges the two: copy the IceWarp data folder off the Linux host, mount it on Windows, run the wizard. No requirement to install IceWarp on Windows, no requirement to keep the Linux host running through the migration window.
Recovers Mailbox Items, Not Only Email
Many IceWarp converters move email and lose everything else: contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals. PCDOTS reads all six item types together and writes them to the destination as native items where the destination supports them (PST, Office 365, Exchange) or as attached files where it does not (PDF, HTML).
Single Tool Spans 15 Output Destinations
File-format outputs (PST, EML, MBOX, MSG, EMLX, PDF, HTML, RTF, CSV) and live cloud destinations (Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, OWA, IMAP, ProtonMail) sit in one wizard. No round-trip through PST as an intermediate format when the actual destination is Gmail or Office 365; one job, one source-to-destination pass.
Date Range and Folder Filters Scope Each Job
Most IceWarp recovery jobs target a subset: only the last two years, only the Inbox and Sent folder, only one user out of fifty. Date range filters by sent and received date. Folder filters by mailbox subtree. Size filters by attachment cap. Each migration runs against the filtered subset, not the full mailbox.
Header Retention Through the Migration
IceWarp Server stores RFC 5322 headers verbatim. PCDOTS retains To, From, Cc, Bcc, Subject, Date, Message-ID, In-Reply-To, References across the conversion without modification. Forensic and compliance workflows depend on header integrity; the wizard does not rewrite, regenerate or normalise headers during conversion.
Works With or Without IceWarp Installation
The wizard does not require IceWarp Server installed at the conversion machine. Two source modes: auto-detect when IceWarp Server is installed and configured, manual browse when only the data folder is available. Either source mode produces the same output. Useful when the original IceWarp host is no longer accessible.
Compatible With Windows 7 Through Windows 11
Wizard runs on Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022. .NET Framework 4.5 is the only runtime requirement. Useful for legacy migration workstations where modern tools no longer install, and for Windows Server workflows that handle IceWarp recovery in batch mode.

Trial vs Licensed Edition for IceWarp Migration
Both editions ship the same binary, the same source mode coverage (configured and orphaned), the same 15 destination targets, the same item-type coverage (mail plus contacts plus calendars plus tasks plus notes plus journals). The trial caps writer output at 25 emails per folder. The licensed edition ($99 one-time, single-workstation, perpetual) removes the cap and ships lifetime updates as IceWarp Server data formats and Windows releases evolve.
IceWarp converter alternatives split into three categories: vendor-supplied options (the IceWarp Sync Outlook add-in route, which requires a live IceWarp Server and only delivers email to PST), indirect IMAP routes (add IceWarp as IMAP to Outlook, then export, losing calendars and tasks in the process), and standalone tools like PCDOTS, Yota, Kernel, SysTools and CubexSoft. How It Works
Eleven-Step IceWarp Migration Walkthrough
Standard eleven-step procedure for IceWarp Server migration to any of the 15 supported destinations, deeper than the three-stage quick guide above. Each step references the corresponding wizard dialog and screenshot. Operator time per migration: 15-90 minutes depending on mailbox count, source mode (configured detection faster than orphaned-folder browse), and destination (cloud destinations slower than local PST).
Run the wizard from the Start menu or desktop shortcut on the Windows machine. The source selection dialog opens with two main mode buttons: Configured IceWarp Accounts for live IceWarp Server hosts, and Choose Folder for orphaned data folders copied off another machine.
Pick Configured Accounts or Browse to Orphaned Folder
On a Windows machine running IceWarp Server, click Configured IceWarp Accounts and the wizard auto-detects users. For Linux-sourced or post-crash recovery, click Choose Folder and navigate to the IceWarp data directory copied off the source host (typically /var/spool/icewarp/mail/ or C:\Program Files\IceWarp\mail\).
Inspect the IceWarp Account Tree
The navigation pane lists every detected user account and the folder hierarchy under each (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, custom folders). Item counts and total size appear next to each folder. Click any account to expand. Tasks, contacts, calendars and notes appear as separate stores alongside the mail folders.
Preview Individual IceWarp Messages
Click any message in any IceWarp folder to render it in the preview pane: full RFC 5322 headers, message body, attachment listings with MIME type and size. Hex view and raw source modes available for forensic inspection. Useful for verifying the IceWarp data folder reads correctly before committing to the migration.
Apply Filters and Search
For scoped migrations, apply filters: date range (sent and received), folder subtree (Inbox only, Inbox plus Sent, exclude Spam), sender or recipient (email address or domain), size cap on attachments. Boolean search across the full IceWarp dataset returns matches before commit.
Configure Item Type Coverage
IceWarp source data exposes six item types: emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals. Each item type can include or exclude in the export. Useful when the destination only carries some types (PDF carries mail-only) or when the migration only targets contacts.
Pick a File Format or Cloud Destination
Click Export. The destination menu groups outputs into file formats (PST, EML, MBOX, MSG, EMLX, PDF, HTML, RTF, CSV) and cloud services (Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, OWA, IMAP, ProtonMail). For cloud destinations, the next dialog handles authentication.
Authenticate to Cloud Destination
For Office 365 and Google Workspace destinations, the wizard launches the provider's OAuth 2.0 consent flow in the default browser. For Yahoo, ProtonMail and personal Gmail with 2FA, supply the app-specific password. The wizard caches the OAuth token for the duration of the session only; no credentials persist after the wizard closes.
Execute the Migration
Browse to the destination folder for file outputs, or confirm the cloud destination authentication for cloud outputs. Click Save. The wizard processes mailbox-by-mailbox and folder-by-folder with per-item progress reporting. Operation log records each successful and failed item with reason.
Confirm the Migration Job
When the wizard reports Job Complete, the destination receives the converted output. The trial caps the writer at 25 emails per folder; the licensed wizard processes any IceWarp dataset size without limits. Click Open Folder for file outputs to inspect the result, or open the destination cloud account to verify cloud writes.
Spot-Check the IceWarp Migration Result
Open output PST in Outlook, output cloud destination in the relevant web client, output PDF in any reader. Spot-check that: folder hierarchy retained, calendar items appear with recurrence and reminders, contacts populate the address book, attachments open at original size. Compare a sample of source-destination pairs side by side.

Quick Definition
What Is the IceWarp Converter?
An IceWarp Converter is a desktop tool that reads IceWarp Server mailbox data (formerly known as Merak Mail Server) from either a configured live host or an orphaned data folder copied off a crashed or decommissioned IceWarp installation, then exports the contents to file formats (PST, EML, MBOX, MSG, PDF) and live cloud accounts (Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, IMAP). The PCDOTS IceWarp Converter reads on-disk IceWarp data without requiring the IceWarp service to be running anywhere; emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes and journals all carry through to the destination.

FAQs
IceWarp Migration Reference Questions
Twelve reference questions covering IceWarp migration: server background and Merak history, data folder paths on Windows and Linux, orphaned-folder recovery from crashed servers, and direct cloud delivery to Office 365 and Gmail. Sourced from real IT migration tickets.
Is IceWarp the same as Merak Mail Server?
Yes. IceWarp Server was originally released as Merak Mail Server and was rebranded by IceWarp Ltd. The on-disk data format remained compatible across the rename. The wizard reads both old Merak data folders and modern IceWarp Server data folders without any conversion mode switch required.
What is IceWarp Server and what data does it store?
IceWarp Server is an enterprise mail and groupware server formerly known as Merak Mail Server, developed by IceWarp Ltd. It runs on Windows and Linux, supports SMTP, IMAP and POP, and provides web-based and Outlook-add-in client access. The mailbox stores hold emails, contacts, calendars (with recurrence and reminders), tasks, notes, journals and public folders. The PCDOTS IceWarp Converter reads every one of these item types from a configured live server or from an orphaned data folder copied off the host disk.
How do I export IceWarp emails to Outlook PST?
Open the wizard. Choose Configured IceWarp Accounts if IceWarp Server runs on the same Windows machine, otherwise Choose Folder and navigate to the IceWarp data directory. The wizard enumerates the user accounts. Select the user (or all users), click Export, pick PST from the file-format menu. The wizard offers one PST per user or one combined PST. Set destination folder, click Save. Output PST files open in Outlook 2007 and later, with calendars, contacts and tasks as native PST items alongside the mail.
How do I migrate IceWarp accounts to Office 365 in bulk?
Pick Office 365 from the cloud destinations menu after loading the IceWarp source. The wizard prompts for tenant administrator credentials (over OAuth 2.0 / Modern Authentication). The wizard then enumerates IceWarp source mailboxes and the destination Office 365 mailboxes; the admin maps each source user to a destination mailbox via the mapping dialog (or accepts the auto-match by username). Click Save. The wizard writes folder-by-folder into Exchange Online with the IceWarp folder hierarchy retained at the destination.
Can the wizard read IceWarp data folders from a crashed server?
Yes. This is the wizard's signature recovery capability. The IceWarp Server service does not need to be running at either end of the conversion. Mount the disk image of the failed host, locate the IceWarp data directory, copy it onto a Windows workstation, point the wizard at the copied folder. The wizard reads the on-disk format directly. No IMAP authentication, no admin web UI, no live IceWarp service connection involved.
Can I filter by date range, folder or sender during the export?
Yes. Date range filters by sent and received date. Folder filters select specific mailbox subtrees (Inbox only, Inbox plus Sent, exclude Spam, etc.). Size filters set an attachment cap. Sender filters match by email address or domain. Multiple filters combine in a single migration job; the export targets only the matching subset.
Where does IceWarp Server store user mailbox folders?
Default IceWarp data path on Windows is C:\Program Files\IceWarp\mail\domain.tld\username\. On Linux the default is /var/spool/icewarp/mail/domain.tld/username/. The folder contains the user's message store, address book, calendar, tasks and notes in IceWarp's on-disk format. The wizard reads from either path, or from any copy of the folder on a Windows workstation.
Does the wizard carry calendars, contacts and tasks too?
Yes. Six IceWarp item types read out together: emails, contacts, calendars (with recurrence and reminders), tasks (with due dates), notes, and journals. Public folders convert alongside personal mailboxes. Whether each item type survives the export depends on the destination: PST and Office 365 carry every type; PDF and HTML carry mail-only.
Can the wizard handle 100+ IceWarp user mailboxes in one job?
Yes. The licensed edition has no per-batch cap, no per-mailbox cap, no file size cap. Single-job migrations of 200+ user IceWarp tenants are routine. The wizard processes mailboxes sequentially with per-user progress reporting; total time scales with mailbox volume and chosen destination (cloud destinations slower than local PST).
How do I convert IceWarp data from a Linux source on a Windows workstation?
IceWarp Server runs on Linux at many sites; the migration workstation typically runs Windows. Workflow: SSH or SCP onto the Linux host, locate /var/spool/icewarp/mail/, copy the entire directory tree to a folder on the Windows workstation (or a network share). On the Windows machine, run the wizard, pick Choose Folder, navigate to the copied directory. The wizard reads the Linux-sourced data identically to a Windows-sourced source. No IceWarp install required at either end during the conversion.
What does the free trial migrate and how is it limited?
Trial caps the writer at 25 emails per folder. Loading IceWarp source data, browsing the folder tree, viewing previews, configuring filters and destinations all work without restriction. Licensed edition is $99 one-time, perpetual, single-workstation, no recurring fees. Full installer download free; license key unlocks unlimited output.
How do I move IceWarp emails to Gmail or Google Workspace?
Pick Gmail from the cloud destinations menu. The wizard prompts for the destination Gmail credentials (OAuth 2.0 for Google Workspace tenants, app-specific password for personal Gmail with 2FA enabled). The wizard writes folder-by-folder against the destination account. IceWarp folder names map to Gmail labels; nested folders become nested labels in the Gmail account.

"Recovered 320 IceWarp mailboxes from a crashed Linux server."
A regional ISP's IceWarp Server on Ubuntu Linux failed catastrophically after a botched OS upgrade. 320 customer mailboxes plus shared calendars and address books were on the failed disk; no live IceWarp service remained. We extracted the disk, mounted it on a Windows recovery workstation, copied the IceWarp data folder, and pointed PCDOTS at it. The wizard parsed every mailbox without a single read failure. Output went to PST, then we imported the PST set into Exchange Server for the customer migration. The whole recovery completed in 14 hours start to finish, including the disk imaging step.

IceWarp to Office 365 cutover, no PST detour
A 60-user IceWarp tenant moving to Microsoft 365 for the Teams integration. Other migration paths routed through PST as an intermediate format which doubled the I/O and added an Exchange staging server. PCDOTS authenticated to the M365 tenant directly with OAuth 2.0, mapped each IceWarp user to the destination mailbox, and wrote folder-by-folder against Exchange Online. Calendars and contacts came across as native O365 items.

Compliance discovery against a retired IceWarp archive
A discovery hold landed against an IceWarp archive from 2019, four years after the production server retired. Counsel needed everything from one named user, two named counterparties, in a 14-month window. PCDOTS read the cold-storage IceWarp data folder, applied boolean search across sender and recipient with a date range filter, and wrote the matching subset to PDF for delivery. The wizard never required us to rebuild the IceWarp Server.
